The NBEX opening ceremonies are Monday, Sept. 6, at 1:50PM in the Capital Exhibit Centre Main Lobby followed by the unveiling of the Valley Trail Mural at 2:30PM. A public reception will follow in the Capital Exhibit Centre at 7PM featuring Theresa Malenfant. The reception and concert are free.

Theresa is New Brunswick’s acclaimed ‘Queen of Blues’, has been bringing down the house since her early public appearance on stage with the late Dutchie Mason. Winner of an ECMA for Best Female Artist and twice nominated for Canadian Maple Blues Awards as Female Artist of the Year. Theresa Malenfant has a loyal and enthusiastic following across Canada as well as in Europe.
